Make SURE your film is loaded correctly

  • The dull side of the top and bottom roll should be facing each other and positioned to touch the front and back of the items you are laminating.

  • Top and bottom rolls should be aligned side to side with NO overlap!

  • Follow the instructions for setting the speed and temperature recommended for your laminating film type (gloss or matte) and weight (1.5, 3 or 5 mil)

Clean rollers regularly

  • The best method is to slightly warm rollers, then remove melted film with a teflon scrubby.

  • Blow out any debris generated with canned air.

This program strives to close the “Digital Divide” for disadvantaged children who do not have access to computers by providing qualifying public schools with digital learning centers. Submissions are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Non-profit public or private K-12 schools or parent groups associated with them are eligible. Funding for requests that promote the awareness and use of alternative fuels or promote the concept of sustainability. Projects that encourage parent involvement and build stronger community spirit will be favored.
K-12 public/private schools can apply for grants that have a specific focus on STEM subjects or the environment. Deadline for application is August 1, 2019.
The 2019 program provides grants for innovative, creative leadership team building within elementary/middle schools. Each grant-winning school receives $2,500 and Crayola products valued at $1,000. Deadline June 21, 2019 (the principal must be a member of NAESP).
Directly appeal to a community of donors, who are actively looking to help local classrooms, with monetary requests unique to your specific needs. Ongoing donations with no deadline.
Grants are geared toward engaging youth in technology and 21st century skill development through film. K-12 teachers and principals from any discipline who have a demonstrated need for technology are eligible. Quarterly deadlines.
STEM education is a critical focus for Lockheed Martin. Multiple grants are available. K-12 public schools that focus on STEM education are eligible. Applications for some programs are accepted quarterly.
A clearinghouse for grants, scholarships, awards, and funding sources for teachers of math and STEM classes.
The National Science Foundation funds research and education in areas of engineering and science through grants and cooperative agreements to K-12 school systems.
Grants are available to current members of the National Education Association who are educators in public schools or public institutions of higher education. Preference is given to proposals that incorporate STEM. Deadlines are June 1 and October 15, 2019.
This is a contest that focuses on using STEM to identify unique solutions. All publicly financed 6 – 12 schools are eligible to participate. Charter schools that derive at least 50% of their operating funds from public sources are also eligible.
K-5 grade teachers are invited to apply on-line for grants for innovative ideas to improve science, technology, engineering and math learning in their classrooms. Grant deadline is October 1, 2019.
Grants include those for providing after school enrichment, tutoring or vocational training for low income individuals and families in the United States. Deadline for application is December 31, 2019.
